What does the vignette cover?
The Czech electronic vignette (edalnice.cz) is required on marked motorway sections for vehicles up to 3.5 t. Fully electric and hydrogen vehicles are exempt or discounted, which is why the fuel type is asked during checkout.
Driving without a vignette
Driving without a valid e-vignette can be fined up to CZK 20,000 (āā¬800). Enforcement uses automatic camera checks of licence plates.
