What does the vignette cover?
The Hungarian e-matrica is required on motorways (M roads) and selected main roads. Vehicles are grouped into categories D1 (cars), D1M (motorcycles), D2 (larger passenger vehicles/vans) and U (trailers) ā pick your category during checkout.
Annual county vignettes valid only in selected counties also exist alongside the country-wide options.
Driving without a vignette
Using the network without a valid e-matrica triggers a surcharge of roughly HUF 60,000ā90,000 (āā¬150ā230), rising substantially if paid late. Enforcement is fully camera-based.

How fast will I get my Hungary vignette? ļ¼

Is this an official vignette? ļ¼

What if I enter the wrong licence plate? ļ¼
E-vignettes are bound to the plate immediately at issuance and cannot be transferred, so please double-check before paying. Contact us right away if you spot a mistake ā before issuance we can still fix or refund it.
Can I choose a future start date? ļ¼
Yes ā you can pick any start date from today onwards during checkout (except calendar-year vignettes, which have a fixed validity window).
